While our vision and focus will never waver from supporting the land and people of Israel, our work has evolved since October 7 to ensure that the immediate and long-term needs of those who call the communities on the border with Gaza and with Lebanon home are met.
COMMUNITY BUILDING
Jewish National Fund-USA’s unprecedented work brings quality of life to the northern and southern regions of Israel. By improving employment, education, housing, medical care, youth programming, tourism, and recreation, we make it easier for to achieve population growth beyond the overcrowded center of the country.
FORESTRY & GREEN INNOVATIONS
Simply put, our work planting trees and developing green spaces has made Israel an environmental powerhouse. Now, as innovators in ecological development and pioneers in afforestation and fire prevention, we continue to strengthen ties between the land and the people of Israel.
WATER SOLUTIONS
Jewish National Fund-USA helps Israel lead the world in water conservation. Israel reuses over 90% of its water, and we have helped grow the country’s water economy by treating, recycling, and collecting waste and runoff water, constructing reservoirs, and rehabilitating rivers.
DISABILITIES & SPECIAL NEEDS
We believe passionately in supporting Israelis with disabilities. Jewish National Fund-USA provides cutting-edge rehabilitative services, special education and medical care and ensures that Israel remains accessible to people of all abilities.
RESEARCH & DEVELOPMENT
Jewish National Fund-USA is helping Israel become a “light unto the nations” by promoting research that solves Israel’s and the world’s water, agricultural, medical, food, and energy challenges. Our research also brings much-needed employment opportunities to local Israeli communities.
EDUCATION & ADVOCACY
As the largest provider of Zionist and Israel education programs in the United States, Jewish National Fund-USA connects American Jews of all ages to the people of Israel. From kindergarten through to adulthood, from B’nai mitzvah projects to trips for college students, we engage, educate and help students – and the broader community – foster a greater commitment and love for the land of Israel.
HERITAGE SITE PRESERVATION
Heritage sites are a powerful connection to Israel’s past and a touchstone to our collective future. Jewish National Fund-USA keeps the history of Israel’s independence alive by restoring and preserving historic sites, raising public awareness, and developing and operating visitor centers throughout the country.
